In an interview on October 12, 2019 with “whistleblower” Veronica Brill on the “Under The Gun Podcast” (No #158 – Cheating At Stones Gambling Hall) hosted by David Tuchman, Tuchman, at 4:09:42, claims Brill told him something “might go down” two (2) weeks before she actually went public with her cheating allegations.
The revelation seems to suggest Brill was planning something at least one (1) week prior to the final stream (September 21, 2019) even took place. It was during that session the infamous “Marle hand” played out, where Mike Postle folded top pair and gut-shot straight draw to Marle Cordeiro‘s nut straight.
As we pointed in an article discussing the hand, Jake Rosenstiel also “spilled the beans” that a premeditated plan was in the works.
Brill, who said she was uncertain if Postle was cheating when she publicly came forward, in part because she was told he went on downswings, and also because she didn’t commentate every stream making it difficult to know (his results), stated on 9/28/2019 (day she came forward), “he’s running in the 95th percentile of results.”
The data and charts alleging similar percentages weren’t released till days later.
Cordeiro, Matt Berkey, and Christian Soto all traveled to the final stream with Brill. Brill was later criticized for not sharing her suspicions with the crew.
In 2007 Rounder Magazine recognized Mike Postle as an elite pro and provided him with merchandise to promote the Rounder brand. No other considerations have been provided. Mr. Postle has never had ownership rights, nor has he ever been employed by Rounder. Rounder Life Media is not in a position to determine Mike Postle's guilt or innocence. This will be determined by the official investigation(s) being conducted, or through a court of law, not speculation. We will continue to pursue all relevant facts related to this case and report such, whether they support or disprove the charges.
