PokerGo Tour: The hunt for the Purple Jacket begins today in the Poker Masters!
Event #1: $10K No-Limit Hold’em kicks off at 12PM PT in the @PokerGO Studio at @AriaLV! Players start with 125,000 chips and will play 40-minute levels.
The eighth installment of the Poker Masters will be the fifth major series of the 2023 PokerGO Tour (PGT) season and run from September 14-26, 2023. The 2023 Poker Masters will be held inside the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The ten-event schedule is a No-Limit Hold’em series with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to the marquee $50,000 buy-in finale. The first nine events will give players a double reentry option, while the $50,000 finale will be a single reentry. Players in the registration line by 12 p.m. PT will qualify for discounted rake on their first entry. Levels will be 40 minutes long, with a 10-minute break every two levels. The 30-second shot clock will be active during the Poker Masters, with players beginning with six 30-second time extensions. The $50,000 finale will start at 2 p.m. PT and feature 45-minute levels while registration is open, and once closed, levels will be increased to 60 minutes.
Last year Sean Winter cashed twice to earn the Purple Jacket as the series champion.
