In a recent interview on the PBD Podcast with host Patrick Bet-David, high-stakes poker player Dan Bilzerian discussed several topics, ranging from his “struggles with addiction, thoughts on relationships, politics, and America.”

The man dubbed “King of Instagram”, after gaining tens of millions of followers from images portraying his playboy lifestyle, reveals he overcame “sex addiction” and is currently in a relationship, living a low key life.

“I realized the hedonistic stuff wasn’t really making me happy.”

When the topic turned to politics, Bilzerian railed against Israel, and what he described as “traitors” in the U.S. government who put foreign interests ahead of America’s.

Bet-David started the political conversation, jokingly asking Bilzerian if he recently joined AIPAC, before asking him directly about Israel, and reading some of his recent controversial tweets.

PBD “So you think the middle east and the world would be a better place if Israel didn’t exist?”

DB “Yes.”

“Muslims aren’t the problem The open boarders and the motherf*ers in the media attacking nationalism, pushing DEI, transgenderism and destroying moral values are the problem.”

“If you don’t put America first, as a US politician, you are committing treason. Supporting Israel is bad for America. Netanyahu is a convicted war criminal & Israel is not our ally. We’ve fought way too many wars for Israel & we certainly don’t need to give them anymore money.”

Bet-David hit back, somewhat, arguing Israel has a right to defend itself, after Bilzerian insisted it was committing genocide against Palestinians.

“Have you ever lived the middle east?” Bet-David asked, pointing out Israel offers co-existence for all religions and lifestyles, something not offered in Muslim countries, specifically Iran, where Bet-David lived for 10 years.

When pressed specifically by Bilzerian on whether or not he believed Israel was committing genocide, Bet-David responded, “I think they’re fighting for themselves, and they’re defending themselves.”

The two found some common ground when Bet-David questioned how Netanyahu, who claims he has the best intelligence in the world, wasn’t aware of the impending attack by Hamas on October 7th.

“They knew about it… They wanted it to happen so they had a reason to take the land…” Bilzerian added.

After the podcast aired, Bilzerian tweeted his life could be in jeopardy, as a result of his comments.

“At min 44 he asks me about Israel. This interview is prob gonna get me killed, but f*k em because it’s the truth” (tweet).
