Phil “Unabomber” Laak topped a 3,817 player field in the $560 NLH (Event #74) at Parkwest Bicycle Casino’s Mega Millions XXVII, en route to the $380,245 first-place prize.
Laak, who now has over $4 million in live career earnings, went “old school”, refusing to chop, ultimately defeating Behzad Teranie heads-up. Teranie took home $250,075 for the second place finish.
