When “Shuffle up and deal” is announced tomorrow (Sunday January 3, 2021) at The Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, International Champion Damian Salas will face-off against Domestic Champion Joseph Hebert to determine the 2020 World Champion.
Salas, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, topped a field of 674 international “online” competitors for a 1st place prize of $1,550,969, capped off by an in person final table victory at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov. Full results
Metairie, LA native Joseph Hebert finished off the final table of the domestic bracket at the Rio ultimately defeating 705 players to claim his $1,553,256 top prize. Full results
