Poker pro Clemen Deng, who recently finished runner-up to Erik Seidel (via chop) in event #25 $10,000 NLH Deep Stack 8-handed of the 2024 SHRPO for $179,247, is looking to add to that success as he heads into the final day as chip leader in the $5,300 Championship Event.
Deng, who will enter the day with 118bb, has over $600,000 in live tournaments earnings in 2024 to date. He can top the $1,000,000 mark with a second place finish.
Paul Snead, from Kings Park, NY is second in chips with 59bb.
Local favorite Loni Hui (Harwood) sits with 36bb.
Brandon Kessous (35bb), Sterling Savill (18 bb), Jack Thu (40 bb), Billy Pilossoph (23 bb), and Tyler Montoya (18 bb) round out the final table. All have their sights on the $626,950 first place prize.
The final table will be livestreamed (30-minute delay) on Hard Rock Poker’s YouTube channel starting at 12:30 EDT.
