After a five-year hiatus, the Emerald Coast Spring Classic made a thunderous return this past weekend to the Ebro Card Casino in Ebro, Florida.

694 runners ponied up the $300 buy-in in five Day-1 flights generating a total prize pool of $173,500. 108 players returned for Day 2 to take their shot at the $41,755 first-place prize.

In the end, it was Bobby Otto who took home the bracelet and bragging rights as the winner of the largest poker tournament ever held between Jacksonville and Biloxi.

After nearly ten hours of play, the final three players agreed to an even chop. Local Pamela Cobb finished runner-up and Mary Darnell from Crawfordville, Florida settled for third.

Professional poker player Mike Postle, who was accused of cheating in a livestream poker show at Stones Gambling Hall in Citrus Heights, California finished in 10th place. This marks the fourth top 10 finish the 20-year poker pro has made in the only four large field events he’s entered over the past four and a half years.

Action from Day 2, including the Final Table, was live-streamed (no hole cards) on Ebro Poker Room Facebook (https://fb.watch/ruTT_vv6PQ/).
