*Interview with cover model Amber Forrester as it appeared in the April 2009 issue of Rounder Magazine.

I could try to describe Amber Forrester’s appearance, but words aren’t enough. Spectacular, fantastic, outstanding, mesmerizing – sure, they all apply – it’s just that they can’t completely capture the depth of her beauty. Not surprisingly, given her attributes, Amber is pursuing a career in modeling.
I don’t know, but something tells me she’s not the only one that’s going to be doing some pursuing. This blonde Georgian is something out of a dream, a really great one. “Do guys hit on me? Yes, they do,” Amber laughed. “It happens pretty much everywhere. At some places, they’re more obvious. At restaurants, I’ve had men buy me food – and I don’t even know who they are!”
Having Amber on our cover, which is likely to turn the April issue into a magnet for males, will only expand her list of admirers. “I’m very excited about it,” said Amber. “It’s a great opportunity. I’m very thankful for it. I’ve kept up with the issues since last summer, when I appeared in the magazine.”
For the record, Amber first graced one of our pages in September 2008. If you saw the shot, chances are you’re still thinking about it. In addition to working with Rounder, Amber has caught the eye of a number of cameras recently.
“With modeling, I’ve been going out of state a lot lately,” she said. “I’ve gone to Kentucky, Las Vegas, Miami, just all over.”
She’s been doing quite a bit of traveling, but the odds are, it’s only just begun. “I want to get to the top of the modeling profession,” Amber admitted. “I also want to act. I was in drama in high school.”
Along with her appearances on the stage, Amber also participated in another activity at Cherokee High School. “I don’t swim as much as I used to, but in high school I was on the swim team,” Amber said. “It’s definitely my favorite sport. I’ve been swimming since I was 13. I’m also a lifeguard. I like anything to do with the water. When I’m not modeling, I also teach swimming. I’m an instructor.”
Swimming, in particular the physical demands that accompany the endeavor; can be advantageous for a young model, or anyone else for that matter.
“To keep in shape, I swim, and I workout with a personal trainer two times per week,” Amber said. “It’s smart to workout, so I do try.”
In connection with her career, as mentioned above, she has already made several stops. But Las Vegas is one destination Amber particularly enjoyed.
“I loved it,” she gushed. “The first time I went I was eight, so there really wasn’t that much I could do. When I went back, though, I really enjoyed it. I’d love to go back.” The casino environment has a certain appeal. “I love the slot machines – who wouldn’t? I just wish I was old enough to play them,” Amber lamented. “You have to be 21.”
When it comes to the poker table, however, Amber will not be denied. “I’ve been playing Texas hold’em since I was 13,” she said. “I go to my friend’s house on New Year’s Eve and we play a hold’em tournament all night! It’s our little tradition.”
I wondered, if Amber had played a different version of poker, one where the pot is comprised of clothes.
“Actually, I’ve never played strip poker, no,” Amber declared. “I think it’s better to leave something to the imagination. I haven’t been asked, because people know I wouldn’t play.”
One thing she does play is music. “I love music, it’s a passion for me,” Amber said. “I also enjoy libraries and museums. You can usually find me there.”
A gorgeous, brainy babe in a library or a museum – can you comprehend the fantasies that could create? Well, you’ve got all the necessary ingredients … a red-hot recipe, if you will.
Dream a little dream.
