SHRPO Reports
On Monday afternoon, after six days of play, Event #1 of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open came to an end when 19-year-old Karl Creazzo won the title, the trophy, and $146,829 in a six-way deal.
“It feels amazing,” said Creazzo, who is primarily a cash game player. “This was my first live tournament, anytime, ever. I’ve played a couple online with friends, but that’s it.”
There were eight starting flights for this event over the first four days of the series, attracting a total field of 5,870 entries to generate a prize pool worth $1,937,100 — nearly doubling the $1 million guarantee.
